issued when blowing dust and/or sand reduces visibility to near zero. |
| Blowing Dust/Blowing Sand
Advisory is issued when blowing dust and/or sand reduces visibility to 1/4 mile or
less. |
| Dense Fog Advisory is issued
when dense fog reduces visibility to 1/4 mile or less. |
Freeze Advisory/Warning is
issued when widespread temperatures are at or below 32F during the growing season. A
freeze may occur with or without the formation of frost.

| Frost Advisory/Warning is
issued when widespread frost is expected during the growing season. |
Excessive Heat Watch is issued when
excessive heat and humidity are possible in the next day or two.

| An Excessive Heat Warning is issued when
head indices are expected to be extremely high (115-120F) of higher for three hours or
more. |
| Heat Advisory is issued when
daytime heat indices are expected to be 105F or greater and nighttime heat indices are
expected to be 80F or higher for 2 or more consecutive days. |
| High Wind Watch is issued when high winds
may develop in the next day or two. |
| High Wind Warning is issued when sustained
winds are expected to be 40mph or greater or gusts are expected to be 58mph
for an hour or longer. |
| Wind Advisory is issued for sustained winds
of 25 mph or greater. |
| Wind Chill Advisory is issued for dangerous
wind chills of -20 to -50 F. |
| Wind Chill Warning is issued when extreme
wind chills will be -50F or colder. |
