A Dense Fog Advisory means that dense fog has reduced visibility to 1/4 mile or less within the advisory area. If you are driving: Slow down and modify your speed in relation to how far you can see. Drive with low beam headlights on, night or day. Don't turn on your high beams on foggy nights; it decreases your visibility.
